Can I use Neosporin on my cat's wounds

Question

Hey guys, this is Mike Hargreaves from Madrid, Spain, I have a question that I really desperately need an answer for, and it goes like this.. Can I use Neosporin on my cat's wounds? If no then what can I use on my cat wounds and minor injuries?

Some people say yes Neosporin can be used on cat and some say no it cannot be used, I really don’t know who to believe, and I need an honest answer. I’m asking you guys because you have a lot of experience when it comes to cat medication and stuff. Thanks for taking my question.

Can I use Neosporin on my cat's wounds

Well yes Neosporin can be used on cat’s wounds but we don’t advise people to do so, simples because a cat may end up licking the area where you used Neosporin at.

Using Neosporin on cats is okay but don’t use it on an area that a cat may lick, that why we recommend people to use Pet alive comfy pet pain relief spray on their cat’s wounds and minor injuries.

Well pet alive was approved by the FDA to be used only on cats and dogs, which means this spray is very safe even if your cats ended up licking the area you used it on.

Well I have used pet alive comfy pet spray on my dogs and cats and it is the best pain relieving product for cat and dogs on the market right now.

It will provide your cat with pain relief immediately after spraying it and also will provide protection against bacteria’s and germs that may slow down the healing process of your cat. .

We all know that bacteria’s and germs will always delay the healing process of a wound that why using pet alive may be your best and recommended option when trying to treat your cat’s wounds and injuries to make your cat heal faster.

Please note

I’m not against using Neosporin on cats since it can also help in making the cats wounds heal much more faster, but it can be very dangerous when using it on a cat that likes to lick itself.

Think about what will happen if your cat ended up licking that wound!!! Cat normally lick their wounds, and using a pain reliever like Neosporin may help but also can be very harmful.

Please take my advice and buy pet alive comfy pet spray, it much better than Neosporin and very safe since it was made specially for cats and dogs.

What I also love about using comfy pet is that, you won’t even have to touch your cat’s wounds, the only thing you’ll need to do is “spray directly to the area” and this spray doesn’t even sting.

Did you know that Neosporin was made for human use only?

Well even though cat owners uses this on their cats, it is against the FDA’s terms, the FDA have said “pet’s medication and human medication are two different things” and using human medication on your cats may be very harmful and wrong.

Think of it like this:

Will you use pet medication on yourself? No I don’t think you would, that why the FDA is always telling people to also not use human products on their pets.

Neosporin is an antibiotic ointment

People were told that since ointment provide protection against bacteria’s and prevent infections using it on their pets is also okay which for me is not.

The FDA is against using human medication on pets for a reason, so please please please don’t use “Neosporin on your cats”.

Do yourself and your cats a favor and look for something dedicated to cats wounds, me and my wife have been using pet alive comfy pet spray for a very long time and it works like magic.

Pet alive can be costly though, the last time a checked 3 bottles of pet alive were more than $100 dollars, but you can always go to amazon and check the prices yourself…. And also make sure you read product reviews and hear what other cats owners have to say about it.

If you use Neosporin, savion or polysporin on your cats the wounds may sting or irritate the cat and that will surely make the cat want to lick the wound, which means it will be eating all the Neosporin you used on the wound. Your cat may die.

According to vetmd, Neosporin is not that poisonous, but only on humans, we really don’t know if it poisonous when It comes to pet’s, so don’t take that chance or you’ll end up killing your own cat……..
